Somatic Breath Release
& Bodywork

What is Somatic Breathwork?
Somatic breathwork is a body-centered practice that uses deep, connected breathing to access and release emotions, stress, and trauma that are stored in the body. “Somatic” simply means of the body.
In everyday life, unresolved experiences can get “stuck” in the nervous system and in the tissues of the body, showing up as tension, fatigue, or emotional overwhelm. Somatic breathwork creates a safe space to bring those patterns to the surface. Through guided breathing rhythms, the body naturally begins to release what it has been holding onto—whether that’s physical tightness, suppressed emotion, or stored stress.
This work isn’t about forcing or analyzing. Instead, it’s about allowing: using the breath to feel what arises in the body, and giving it the chance to move, release, and integrate. Many people describe it as both cleansing and deeply empowering.
Why the Breath Matters
Breath is life. Yet under stress, past traumas, poor posture, or emotional strain, many of us default to shallow chest breathing. This triggers the body’s fight-or-flight response, often leading to anxiety, panic, numbness, or overwhelm.
Through conscious practice—shorter, deeper inhales and longer, slower belly exhales—we activate the body’s natural rest-and-digest response. This shift into the parasympathetic nervous system brings balance, ease, and regulation.
With skilled guidance, somatic breathwork invites you to connect more fully with your body and emotions. Unresolved stress and trauma often become “stored” in the tissues, showing up as chronic tension, pain, or emotional heaviness.
Following the breathwork journey, restorative bodywork may be applied using gentle percussion tools and hands-on shiatsu-inspired pressure points. This helps release lingering tension, stimulate energy flow, and support the integration of emotions that rise during the breathwork process.

Integrative Healing
Breathwork alone is powerful, but when combined with supportive bodywork and sound healing, it becomes a truly holistic experience. Together, these modalities address both the physical and emotional layers of stored trauma, bringing balance and harmony back to body, mind, and spirit.
Breathwork is one of the most accessible and empowering tools we have for healing. With guidance, presence, and willingness to surrender, you can release what no longer serves you and step into greater wholeness.
